Cockney Rhyming Slang – Typography

The brief from University was simple I had to show what is “quintessential” British in the form of typography. I choose Cockney Rhyming Slang because it Originated from the East End of London in the victorian period. It was used as a form of communication by criminals to do there business without the police knowing there dealings. My design above  is like a eye test. The Hierarchy of the letter “L” is intended  to grab the attention which hopefully makes people want to read on.
